Under the immediate supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides general nursing care to a group of patients to meet curriculum requirements based on the school of nursing requirements. May perform patient care technician duties as determined to benefit the hospital.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited, traditional or accelerated nursing program with which NRHS has an agreement and starting your last semester of nursing school.
3 semesters of nursing clinicals.
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
