In our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, we maintain a fast-paced unit–to meet the needs of those in the most acute phases of cardiac disease. Common problems seen in our unit include post open heart surgery, severe decompensated heart failure/cardiogenic shock, STEMI, aortic dissection, and acute severe valvular dysfunction. Our care team includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, and w unit secretary with support from respiratory, lab, therapy, and case management departments. We orient new unit secretaries to our unit by providing a 4-6 week orientation program with a dedicated preceptor team. Take the next step of your care giver journey and join our amazing Cardiac Decision Unit, where our Healers always deliver professional and compassionate care.
