    The Flex Pool department services several different areas including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), PCU (step down), PCCU (post coronary step down), Bariatric, Oncology, Ortho/Spine, Med/Surg and other areas as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    A temporary RN position that requires floating between several different types of nursing units.

     

    RN essential functions include, but are not limited to: collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data, establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.  Assesses or manages the care of patients, or provides direct patient care.

    Qualifications

    RN with a minimum of 2 years Critical Care Experience.

     

    Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license.  Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.

    Prefer experience in Advanced Hemodynamics, IABP, CRRT, Mechanical Ventilation, Heart Recovery,Artic Sun and Pacemaker.
